We want readers to be able to report errors and understand when an article has materially changed.
Report a possible error
Use our Contact page and choose Correction. Please include:
- the URL of the page;
- the statement you believe is wrong or misleading;
- why you believe it should change; and
- a reliable source, if you have one.
Do not send passwords, financial information, medical records or other sensitive documents.
What happens next
We assess the published wording, the evidence supplied and the strongest available source. Reports involving safety, legal compliance or a substantial factual error are prioritised. We may not be able to reply individually to every submission.
How corrections are shown
When a correction materially changes the meaning or practical effect of an article, the page should include a dated note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting or link-maintenance edits may be made without a separate correction note.
An “updated” date should reflect a meaningful content change, not a cosmetic edit made to make an article appear newer.
Limits
A correction note does not turn general information into project-specific professional advice. Readers should continue to check the current requirements and appropriate authorities for their circumstances and location.
